Darel Handley

Darel Handley moved to the Flathead in 2016. After the roughest Montana winter in 10 years, he second guessed his decision to move his family from Oregon and dreamt of going back. After a year though, the snow, culture, and people grew on him. He now openly proclaims from the mountain tops that, “MONTANA IS THE LAST BEST PLACE ON THE PLANET!”

Darel has been married for 20 years to his incredible wife Rachel. They have two elementary aged children, Claire and Grant. As a family, they love to travel, go to church, laugh, hike, spend time with family and friends…pretty much anything they can do to be together!

Darel Handley graduated from Northwest University with a BA in Communications, and later went on to pursue his Masters in Leadership from Southeastern University.Prior to working in the mortgage industry, Darel served as the Director of Operations for Chick-Fil-A, and also spent many years as a pastor. He served in several churches throughout Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
